    Your post care and healing are just as important as your treatment itself. That’s why at Pacifica MD we’ve chosen to pair all Tetra Pro treatments with Alastin Skincare for optimal healing. These products aren’t just an add-on: they are part of your treatment.

    We want you to be as comfortable as possible during your Tetra Pro treatment. We always provide a topical numbing cream, along with the Zimmer Cryo Air Chiller to be used during treatment to reduce heat, redness, and even help prevent swelling.

    C02 laser technology has changed dramatically – the Tetra Pro represents the latest evolution of the science, and the micro-adjustability of this device is what really makes the difference. No more redness that lasts for weeks, causing the need for social isolation, and no more “overdone” treatments that are more than your individual skin needs!

    CoolPeel and Deka Pulse are both performed by our lead Medical Aesthetician, but they are quite different. CoolPeel is generally a more gentle approach, and can be used multiple times, and in combination with other treatments including radiofrequency, medical-grade facials, and so on. Deka Pulse is a more intense treatment, but still maintains minimal downtime and the ultimate in adjustability. Your Medical Aesthetician will discuss your specific options and what is best for your skin. But in general, CoolPeel has less downtime, and spreads your treatment out over multiple sessions, while Deka Pulse delivers a more intense treatment in fewer treatments. This does not mean that Deka Pulse is right for all skin types – our lead Medical Aesthetician will recommend what will deliver the best results for YOUR skin.

    Just like going to the dentist, what happens in the clinic is of little value if you don’t brush your teeth at home! Medical-grade skincare is essential to achieve and maintain the desired result. By including Alastin products in the price for your treatment, it removes any doubt about how to best manage your care after you leave our clinic.

    Because every treatment is fully customized for each client’s skin goals, there is no one answer to this question. A combination of treatment intensity, along with time frame, will be used to suggest a treatment plan that is customized only for YOUR skin. Treatments can be repeated or used in combination with other treatments, such as radiofrequency, microneedling, etc., to achieve the desired results.

    Absolutely! While not all treatments are suitable for combining, it’s not unusual to combine radiofrequency, microneedling, HydraFacial, and more to achieve exceptional results. Our lead Medical Aesthetician will recommend a treatment plan just for you, that may restrict some treatments seasonally to avoid sun exposure, etc. The recommendations from your Medical Aesthetician are meant to protect your skin for the long-term, and give you the best results possible in your time frame, budget, and skin care goals.
